Short Films

Bitesize Cinematic Experiences

Less isn’t just more . . It’s bigger than that.

A short film production isn’t a lesser feature film or a skit it is in fact a medium of itself. Despite being on a much smaller scale (anything under 15 minutes) short film productions still require exactly the same production techniques as a full length feature.

We have a passion for making cinematic films that have all the drama, suspense and entertainment of a feature but at a much lower cost. Our style of narrative storytelling is based around highly imaginative story ideas that are typically allegorical & centre on such universal themes as friendship, love, fear, alienation & hope.

We are dedicated to making short films for organisations looking to explore important youth themes in a more cinematic way.

Ratzilla. . Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Logline: A troubled boy falls foul of the law fighting to protect a mysterious giant rat from an increasingly fearful community seeking to destroy it.

During the summer of 2013 we wrote, shot and edited our very own short film called Ratzilla a wonderfully inventive fantasy short starring a cast of bright young acting talent & BAFTA Award winning actor Dai Bradley (Billy Casper of Kes)

It won Juror’s Special Mention at the 27th Leeds International Film Festival.

We’d love to hear all about your short film idea?

Behind the scenes of Ratzilla. A youth talent development programme.

The film was made as a proof of concept and also as a production training exercise, giving 10 young people experience of working on the technical side of film production alongside industry experts.

The production took place over the summer of 2013 and involved a 4 day shoot at various locations within Bradford and Leeds including a days shoot at a custom built set within Prime Studios Leeds.

Watch this 1 minute behind the scenes video to see the amazing people and energy that went into the making of this heart warming short film.
