PROJECT: Mental Health Awareness Video Series
CLIENT: NHS | Bradford & Craven District Health Care Partnership
Released: 2025
The Brief
In 2025, BDCHCP tasked us with creating 12 impactful and engaging mental health awareness videos, each lasting 1-2 minutes. These videos feature local health service providers sharing what their service does to support individuals and their families affected by mental health issues. Each videos purpose is to highlight just how much support is in the local area and to signpost people to the right service. The production was multilingual, with films designed to reach audiences speaking English and Urdu.
The video series was shot over 5 days at locations in Keighley, West Yorkshire.
Impact
BDCHCP launched the campaign in May 2025 to coincide with Mental Health Awareness Week and plan on releasing one video each month over a six-month period. The videos will be shared across their Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube accounts, as well as broadcast on public service TV at GP practices, medical clinics, and community centres.
PROJECT: Learning Disabilities Intersectionality – Case Study Videos
CLIENT: Seventeen Seconds for NHS
The Brief
In summer 2022 we were commissioned by leading Healthcare educational provider Seventeen Seconds to produce three documentaries for an online NHS health care training package. Each documentary features candid ‘at home’ interviews with young people with Down’s Syndrome, Autism and Learning Disabilities and their families as they share their honest first hand lived experiences of living with a disability. Interviews were led by GP and leading Professor of Health Care Dom Patterson.
The videos explore the intersectionality of race, culture and learning disabilities and autism in terms of access to health care in diverse UK communities (London, Coventry and Manchester).
Impact
The video series is showcased on the NHS e-learning portal and used nationally by UK health care professionals.
PROJECT: MotiVar’ Weight Management Research Project – 6 min documentary
CLIENT: University of Bradford - NHS
The Brief
In 2021 we were commissioned to produce an inspirational and creative short documentary detailing the pioneering research and feasibility study of leading academics into how a cutting-edge digital technology and virtual reality app ‘MotiVar’ can motivate overweight people into positive behaviour change.
Impact
The narrated film features engaging talking head interviews with academics and health professionals and creatively filmed spoken word montages. It has been shared with NHS health professionals, academics, weight management groups, new clients, and stakeholder partners.
